Private Pay
We use an income-based fee schedule, verified confidentially at intake. Your rate is determined by your household income — honestly, quietly, without negotiation or shame.

Insurance
You show up. We handle the billing.
Avela accepts the following insurance plans. Your out-of-pocket responsibility — copay, coinsurance, or deductible — is determined by your plan. We recommend verifying your mental health benefits before your first session.

Out of Network
Don't see your plan listed? You may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits. We can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt you submit directly to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Reach out and we'll walk you through it.
Our Policies
We ask for 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs before we begin — just ask and we'll provide one.
